Iello brings us “Kitara” , a game where players draw cards to build tableaus, control areas, and build cards. The goal is to win the game by accumulating the most victory points.

Each player count has three boards. A tribe card and a starting card are given to each player at the beginning of the game.

A worker can be classified into three types. In order to feed workers, the basic Warrior should ideally be in a Savanna space. A Master-Animal should be seen as a centaur-like creature. It will gain two points when placed on Ruin spaces. As a final option, the rhino-riding Hero will grant bonuses if it is used during an attack.

For each player, the board starts with three warriors. There are five phases to every turn of the game. You are required to draft new cards, recruit any pawns, move and attack, score, and finally feed your workers by producing new cards.
A game ends when the player reaches 5 years old, and some final scoring occurs at the end of the game.
