Smirk & Dagger brings us “The Night Cage” a fully cooperative, horror-themed tile-placement game that traps 1-5 lost souls within an unnatural labyrinth of eternal darkness. To win, players must each collect a key, find a gate, and escape as a group.

You wake up in the dark with a chilled body and an empty mind. You are left with nothing except your anxiety and the uncertainty of how long your light will last.

With only faint candles to guide you through the dark labyrinth in which you find yourself trapped, you must cooperate to find a way out. Unfortunately, your dim candlelight only illuminates the area around you. Even worse, in the oppressive darkness, hideous Wax Eaters, monsters who loathe the light, wait for their chance to strike.

Since each player's visibility is restricted by the dim light of their candle, making an escape won't be simple. When players move, tiles that fall into darkness are taken out of the game. They only illuminate tiles that are directly connected to their own. returning twice!
